Canada for the 2010 winter olympics......

I am in Canada now. They did let me in, hooray !!(let's see if they'll let me back into the usa??) That's the trick..........3 other drivers didn't make it. One found out half way up the trip, the other 2at the border. Some drivers back home found out too, that they are not going to be let into canada, one couple has pulled a bonnie and clyde and robbed a bank, what is that all about??Another had a conviction 37 years ago and is not let into the country.That is something to talk about during your lunch at the pub, EEEHH ?Hope all is well with you. Drink one on me that we will be safe because things haven't really worked out for me/us so far.We got up saturday at 6, drove to the town just in front of the border, where the busses were going to be inspected, got there at 11 am, sat. waited there until 7pm and found out that 2 of our drivers had to be left behind, these were the 2 that can't get along, so now they are sharing a room, hahahahaha.We got to go after finding that out, but I had suggested to leave those 2 behind with a bus any way, 3 times, but they wanted to be social and because one was the lead driver, the others didn't want to put them together on one bus.Bullsh.........t ! We should have left them there, now 5 others had to go through hell because of it.... We drove up to the border, got there, the new lead driver didn't follow the proper sign for commercial vehicles and took us the wrong way, I didn't want to be a smart.....alec and do my own thing, but I did say "where is he going??"We followed him, into Canada, but were turned around by the border patrol. We went back to the usa through the american customs now. So it was a quick first visit. One of our drivers was furious, because her tollerance level had dropped miles down. Finally we got checked at the other border where we should have gone the first time and after one hour we were across. On to the hotel, so you would think. WRONG !!We had to go to the central district first to check in, and drop our busses, we would be transported to our hotel later.After they checked our busses, we parked, lost our luggage, retrieved our luggage, got into a van, then a big holding tent where they had us wait, got onto another bus and had us wait, and wait, and wait and wait, etc. until it had enough drivers/passengers to take to our hotel.Did I mention that we had been waiting in the waiting area for 1/2 hour earlier........ It was 10.45 pm when the bus left. Then we found out they were not going to bring us to our hotel 11 miles away from there, as promissed by our company but instead they drove away, dropped the first Passengers/drivers off at their hotel, 45 minutes later, then the second group, 1/2 hour later, and us a total of 1 1/2 hours later........rediculous. So every day we go to work we have a 3 hour comute?? CRAZY !! You can understand that we are not very happy campers. We are now staying at the best western Motel, the rooms are realy small and my collegue's are complaining that we have to spend 1 month together in this small room?? Terrible even when you like your collegue.........there is no room to put your stuff. Always look on the bright side of life: we have a microwave..........unfortunatelly it doesn't work,ahahahahaha. Got to go to bed now, long day tomorow !!
